The Wellesley ABC program provides academically talented and promising young women of color A Better Chance of educational preparedness through enrollment at Wellesley High School. Wellesley ABC is committed to increasing the number of well-educated women of color assuming positions of responsibility and leadership in American society.

WAJAMAMA stands for Watoto (children), Jamii (community), Mama. As the name suggests, although we are primarily focused on women’s health, we also provide pediatrics and community health services. Our mission is to empower women, children, and communities in Zanzibar through health promotion and disease prevention. We are determined to maintain our safe and healing environment, where you can get excellent primary and women’s health care services, health education, and group fitness classes for women.

In 2014, thanks to the visionary leadership of the Cummings Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Partners In Health took the first steps towards realizing a long-sought aspiration — to create a university that would advance global health delivery by training a new generation of global health leaders who are equipped in not just building, but sustaining effective and equitable health systems.
For over three decades, Partners In Health (PIH) has delivered high-quality health care and social services across ten countries and in some of the world’s most underserved communities. By working closely with local governments and alongside communities to design and deliver public health programs, PIH has emerged as a leader in delivering health services in poor and under-resourced settings.

NISHTHA means Dedication in Bengali; dedicated towards empowering women to fight for equal rights, equal opportunities and equal dignity. We are a community based women’s organisation that came into existence in mid-seventies aiming at empowering women and girls through awareness building on their rights and strengthening them to demand for their rights.

This project focuses on the Save the Elephants’ Human-Elephant Co-Existence program, founded by Dr. Lucy King, who discovered that African elephants were deterred by the presence of African honey bees. Elephants, who threaten the livelihood of farmers, could easily consume a family’s entire seasonal food provision in a single night.

We are a global community of health professionals, educators, and activists dedicated to the fight for health equity which transcends borders.
We prepare health professionals to recognize the structural and social determinants of health and to engage in thoughtful, coordinated activism that addresses the root causes of poor health. Collectively, we are building a global movement of social medicine educators and practitioners who tackle health inequity in their institutions and in broader society.

Dignity Matters is a non-profit organization that collects, purchases and supplies feminine hygiene products, bras and underwear to women and girls who are homeless or disadvantaged, in order to help them stay healthy, regain self-confidence, and live with basic dignity.

Coaches Across Continents is a global collaboration of communities, corporations, and foundations on 6 continents that use our unique Purposeful Play and Education Outside the Classroom programs to impact the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Designed at the intersection of midwifery, public health, and
birth equity, Neighborhood Birth Center aims to be Boston's
first freestanding, independent birth center, improving birth
experiences and outcomes, across communities, for generations.
Our vision is grounded in equity and liberation, and explicitly
committed to furthering racial and social justice.

The 2020 Black Maternal Health Conference aims to bring together members of the community,
health care professionals, and students in the Greater Boston area that are dedicated to ending the
adverse maternal health outcomes faced by Black women in the US. Our speakers will share their
experience in addressing these disparities and effectively assist in meeting our event’s learning objectives

Women Deliver is a global advocacy organization bringing together voices from around the world to call for action to improve the health and well­being of girls and women. It connects, cultivates, instigates conversations, and catalyzes action for change around the globe. A​s a leading, global advocate for girls’ and women’s health, rights, and wellbeing, Women Deliver brings together diverse vices and interests to drive progress in maternal, sexual, and reproductive health and rights. It works to build capacity, share solutions, and forge partnerships, together creating coalitions, communication, and action that spark political commitment and investment in girls and women.

We are the International Anti-Poaching Foundation. Founded in 2009, the IAPF has grown from an industry service provider, to a leader in on-the-ground solutions for nature conservation. Through two key approaches, the IAPF implements programs in strategically positioned areas which promote increased habitat protection and restoration, contributing to national and ecoregion-scale conservation strategies, and the empowerment of indigenous peoples to protect their sovereign lands.
